April 22, 1978: Eurovision – a bad old day for Co-Co

This year’s Eurovision Song Contest took place in Paris and was won by Israel’s Izhar Cohen & Alphabeta with “A Ba Ni Bi“.  The song licked the bottom of the UK Top 20.  Watch on the vedat veleli YouTube Channel.

Performing for the UK was Co-Co who came 11th with “Bad Old Days” but managed No 13 in the charts.  The group featured future Eurovision winner, with Buck’s Fizz, Cheryl Baker (far right).  No stranger to showing a bit of leg, then.  Watch the performance on the setheurovision94 YouTube Channel.
